WPA OPEN BOARD MEETING MINUTES
September 18, 2017
Call to Order: Jacky Walton. This meeting is called by the President for the Finance Committee.
Attendees: Jacky Walton, Inge Ebert, Peggy Phillips, Adam Anderson, Larry McMillin, Janine Cline, Bob Garrison and Keith Johnson
Absent: John Walton
Quorum: Secretary: Yes
Finance: Peggy said: I apologize that we had to call this additional meeting tonight in order to comply with Policy which states, “at least (2) months prior to the annual meeting, the budget will be presented to the full Board for approval and/or modification.”
Our regular meeting scheduled for tomorrow will exceed this requirement by one day.
The Finance Committee met Tuesday, August 29, 2017, for the purpose of preparing the 2018 proposed budget. After reviewing historic expenditures from September until year end and considering the current balances in the Reserve Accounts and Operating Account, we are recommending the assessment for 2018 remain the same as 2017 at $525.
Please review this data one final time and ask any questions.
Peggy made a motion to approve the budget as presented, Seconded, Bob Garrison, Keith asked how this differs from last year and if are they any large projects looming in the next year. Peggy stated, this budget was given to the Board in advance for their input. There are no extraordinary projects and the budget is substantially similar; Motion carried.
Janine Cline made a Motion to approve the 2018 annual assessment of $525, Inge seconded, Motion carried.
