WPA MONTHLY BOARD MEETING MINUTES
September 20, 2016
Call to Order: Jacky Walton
Attendees: Jacky Walton, Inge Ebert, Peggy Phillips, Adam Anderson, Larry McMillan, John Walton, Keith Johnson, Bob Garrison and Janine Cline
Quorum: Yes
Jacky Walton called the meeting to order and made a motion to approve the August 2016 minutes. Unanimous approval.
Motion to approve the closed September 12, 2016 meeting minutes made by Janine Cline, Seconded by Inge Ebert. The meeting was called to vote on the new office hire.
Presidents Report: None
Vice President: In response to the residents concerned about golf course, Bob Garrison asked for an opinion from our attorney, as to the pros and cons of the Board purchasing the property. The attorney’s letter was read and the opinion was not favorable. A copy will be placed in the correspondence file.
Secretary’s Report: None
Treasurer’s Report: Currently $32,643 in past due accounts. Peggy made a motion that the 2017 Budget be approved as presented. Seconded by Janine Cline, motion carried.
Committee Reports
ARC: – 2 re-roofs approved, Keith read letter and discussed a letter about removal of a shed.
Legal: No report Finance: No report
Communications: No report
Community Liaison: Adam received 10 emails regarding pothole locations, lot mowings, and questions regarding the luminary display.
Welcome Committee: Eight cards were sent out this past month, including 3 condolence cards.
Drainage: No report Water Amenities: No report
Condo Liaison: Regime Annual Meetings were held as well as choosing the official closing date of the pool.
Road: No report
Grounds: Larry made a motion to purchase of a live Holly Tree for the annual tree lighting. Adam seconded motion and motion was carried.
Compliance: No report Old Business: No New Business: No
Resident Comments: Madeline Claveloux spoke, her comments are on file in the office.
